Cort has released its new guitar, the CJ-Retro acoustic-electric. It’s a jumbo-sized six-string that marries bold, retro-inspired looks with modern components—all in a sub-$500 package.
The CJ-Retro has a solid spruce top, mahogany sides, back and neck, and a merbau fretboard. A Fishman Neo-D magnetic humbucker, fed through a Fishman VTB EQ preamp, complements the huge, rich sound from the guitar’s jumbo size.
Graphtech Nubone XB nut and saddle, vintage-style nickel open-gear tuners and those lovely dual rectangular inlays complete the highlights of the guitar.
The CJ-Retro lists for $429.99. For more info, check outcortguitars.com.
