Preorders are open for the TB-2W,Boss‘ upcoming fuzz pedal collaboration with Solasound.
Thepedalis a Boss take on the legendary Tone Bender MkII, with level and attack controls, as well as a three-way voltage selector switch.
While the pedal’s price was not confirmed when it was announced, it’s now revealed that the unit will set you back $349.99. The TB-2W will be available in a limited production run; with each unit featuring rare germanium transistors “carefully tested for optimum tone.” Germanium Transistors are notoriously difficult to source, and so the high price and limited numbers are perhaps no surprise.
