Gear Ant’s custom pedal enclosures will make you feel guilty for stomping on your effects

You might want to take off your boots before stepping on these.

Gear Ant wants to make your guitar effects a whole lot more attractive, offering custom painted enclosures and knobs and more.

The New York-based company offers five different enclosure styles – some pre-drilled and some au naturel – including some adorably designs created by the owner’s daughter; and yes, according to the site, she does get to keep the profits for those.

The other four include crackle, hydrofilm, alcohol ink and freehand designs – each coming in a set of unique art. On top of that, the brand offers guitar pick boxes in crackle finishes, which could be a welcome replacement for that Altoids tin that’s sat on your ‘board for years.

On top of that, Gear Ant offers pre-painted pedals themselves – including a custom Ibanez TubeScreamers; severalBossDS-1 pedals; a Dunlop Crybaby Mini, and even some clone pedals. There’s also the Cotton Candy Fuzz: a dual-pedal combining Dan Armstrong’s Green Ringer and a Wampler Velvet Fuzz.
